The international news agency and radio broadcaster Sputnik has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kaduna State University (KASU), a public university in Nigeria.

The document was signed by Vasily Pushkov, Sputnik’s Director of International Cooperation, and Yusha’u Ibrahim Ango, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) at Kaduna State University.
The agreement marks Sputnik’s first partnership with a Nigerian university. The collaboration will focus on fostering expert dialogue, facilitating the exchange of views, and co-hosting relevant events.
Commenting on the signing, Ayodele Babatunde Joseph, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Kaduna State University, said:
