Sputnik international news agency and radio signed an updated cooperation agreement with ACI news agency of the Republic of the Congo. The document was signed by First Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Sputnik Sergei Kochetkov and ACI General Director Olga Rachelle Mangouandza.

The document focuses on the direct exchange of content, bypassing third parties, and holding seminars to exchange experience, including training in the technical and journalistic fields.

It is no secret that Africa is a priority for our country today, and that is why bilateral media cooperation is of great importance. We are pleased to have a new channel for getting first-hand information about the Republic of the Congo.

In turn, Olga Rachelle Mangouandza said: “We would like to note that for several decades now our country has been concluding bilateral agreements with Russia. Today we are making a contribution to support these historic communications and media arrangements, namely between our two agencies – Sputnik on the Russian side and ACI on the Congolese side.”

The signing took place with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of the Congo. The agreement with ACI is the second document Sputnik has signed with the media of the Republic of the Congo in 2022. Earlier, Sputnik signed a memorandum of cooperation with ADIAC.
