New Meanings of the New Reality Forum announces participants

The New Meanings of the New Reality International Forum, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya media group, has released its program and announced the guest speakers. The forum, to be held on May 24 at the Rossiya Segodnya International Press Center at 4 Zubovsky Boulevard in Moscow, includes a plenary session and sessions on a wide range of issues, including fighting neo-Nazism, information wars and double standards on human rights; fact-checking; and combating the distortion of history. Rossiya Segodnya Director General Dmitry Kiselev will open the forum with welcome remarks.

Among the invited speakers are State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev, Director of the Federal Agency for the CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Yevgeny Primakov, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, First Deputy Chair of the Russian Civic Chamber’s Commission on Mass Media Alexander Malkevich and other guests.

Television host, publicist and political analyst Dmitry Kulikov will moderate the opening plenary session. RT Russian Broadcasting Service Director Anton Krasovsky will host the session “Meanings of the new reality,” with Rossiya Segodnya Executive Director Kirill Vyshinsky and Yegor Yakovlev, historian and founder of the Digital History Forum, also taking part.

The New Meanings of the New Reality International Forum was organized by the Rossiya Segodnya media group and will take place in Moscow, with guests representing Russia’s relevant ministries, members of the State Duma and the Federation Council, bloggers and influencers, as well as senior managers and journalists of major media outlets. The forum will be held at the Rossiya Segodnya InternationalPress Centerin Moscow.
