Director of special projects at Rossiya Segodnya media group was elected to one of the expert committees of the Council of Europe Steering Committee on Media and Information Society
Mikhail Konrad, director of special projects at Rossiya Segodnya media group, was elected to one of the expert committees of the Council of Europe Steering Committee on Media and Information Society (CDMSI). Together with other European experts, he will work on guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence and other digital technologies in journalism, as well as on sustainable media funding.
Mikhail will also participate in writing the Council of Europe recommendations on combating the spread of misinformation as a Russian representative to other CDMSI committees.
The last time Russian experts were represented on the CDMSI committees was in 2017.
The Council of Europe Steering Committee on Media and Information Society (CDMSI) coordinates the Council of Europe's work on freedom of expression, media, internet governance and other information society issues, and oversees work on the protection of personal data.
