The Petroleum Industry newsletter covers the global oil and gas market, including prices and factors that affect them, production volumes per country, the demand and supply balance, and immediate forecasts.

The domestic production and processing figures are organized by region and company and are based on data provided by Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service, the Economic Development Ministry, the IEA, Powernext and the companies in the sector, as well as our own calculations and other sources. The newsletter is about 50 pages long with over 40 tables and charts.

The newsletter provides detailed information on the current situation in Russia’s electric power industry, including power generation, consumption, and export. Factors behind industry trends are studied, with a focus on regional aspects: rankings of Russian regions by level of generation and consumption, as well as energy sufficiency or deficiency. Production is further broken down by generation method. The industry is regularly monitored for new facilities coming on stream.

Sources of information include Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service, the Ministry of Energy, UES transmission system operator, Nordpool, company and media reports, and our own estimates. The newsletter contains about 35 pages and more than 20 tables and graphs.

Order

Analysis of the mining and processing sectors, with a focus on gold and iron ore mining and the production of steel, aluminum, copper, nickel and zinc. The newsletter analyzes output, export volumes and global trends on the steel and non-ferrous metals markets based on information from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service, the London Metal Exchange, the companies in the sector, our own calculations and other sources.

The newsletter is about 40 pages long with over 30 tables and charts.

The newsletter provides in-depth information about the industry’s top five sectors: automobile manufacturing, power systems, agricultural and railway engineering, and the manufacturing of road building equipment. Established in 2011, the quarterly newsletter has over 25 pages with more than 20 tables and charts.

The Socioeconomic Situation in Russian Regions provides information about current trends in the main socioeconomic sectors, such as industrial production, construction, trade, living standards and the public sector. The newsletter divides the regions into leaders and those lagging behind, based on these indicators, and also provides information about their growth rates. We use the data provided by Rosstat, the Finance Ministry, the Federal Treasury and the regional authorities. First published in 2016, the quarterly newsletter is about 60 pages long with over 40 tables and charts.

Russian Regions’ Socioeconomic Rankings isa newsletter offering a multidimensional overview of the Russian regions’ economic performance and their position on the national economic map based on yearend results, with charts and descriptions. The rankings reflect the scale and efficiency of the regional economies, public sector indicators and social factors, and are based on objective and verifiable official statistics.

The newsletter contains a comprehensive analysis of the regions’ performance, their places in the ranking, an analysis of ranking results in the context of the federal districts, the regions’ reported results used to compile the ranking, and basic ranking approaches and methodology. The 50-page newsletterincludes a summary of the analysis with tables and charts, and is published in June of the year subsequent to the reporting period.

News and Strategies of the Media Industry i s a weekly review of international and Russian media conducted to identify trends and to report the most important events in the online segment of the media industry as a whole and in the world’s top media outlets, including news about the latest social media technology and technological projects launched together with companies.

The monitoring process is an integral part of devising the company’s web strategy. It is focused on special and thematic media outlets in the fields of IT, mass media, communications and journalism; the online portals of journalism and media think tanks; thematic rubrics of the online versions of the world’s leading national media, as well as the official pages of the press services of the social media and messengers.

We monitor the English and Russian language information of media outlets around the world. The review can include information in other languages with short summary in Russian. The review is published on Thursdays.

This is a monthly overview of foreign think tanks and the media conducted to trace rankings, including those that feature Russia, on international politics, the global economy and sectoral markets, as well as social tensions.

We monitor RasmussenReports, PewResearchCenter, Gallup, IPSOSInternational, IPSOSUK, IPSOSUS, YouGovUK, YouGovUS, the AP-NORCCenter, and GoogleNews in global media outlets in English and German. The structure of the monitoring report includes the headline, the name of the analytical center that conducted the survey, the date, and one or two essential paragraphs.

The excerpts in English are not annotated; a short summary is provided for the German language texts.
